Bowling Custom Cork Bulletin Boards
The fabric you have chosen for your Custom Cork Bulletin Board is printed with bowling pins and bowling balls and "Retro Bowl" on a black background. Perfect for a bowler or nostalgia. Just choose the ribbon color and size of bulletin board you want from the pull down menus above.

* Many of our fabrics were already cut for the 12" x 12" board size before we started offering the larger sizes. We apologize if some of your selections are "Out of Stock". We are replacing fabric to accommodate the larger sizes throughout the year. Feel free to call and we will attempt to find just the right fabric for you.

12" boards come with two rows of diagonal ribbons in two corners
16" x 24" boards come with three rows of diagonal ribbons in two corners
24" x 24" boards come with two rows of diagonal ribbons in four corners
24" x 35" and 24" x 48" boards come with three rows of diagonal ribbons in two corners.
Step 3
Choose the hanging direction for your board (if it is rectangular) from the pull down menu above.
Vertically (with the shorter measurement at the top), or
Horizontally (with the longer measurement at the top), or
NA or Not Applicable (if the selected size is square)
Step 4 - Criss Crossed Ribbons (Optional)
You can choose to have the message ribbons criss crossed. Additional ribbons are added to form a criss cross pattern; the resultant diamonds are approximately 5" to 6". From the pull down menu above, choose the SAME size of the board you have selected and you will see the additional charge to add the criss crossed ribbons. Each intersection of ribbons is secured through all layers of fabric, cork, and backing with a small pearl bead.

Step 5 - Ribbon Frame (Optional)
You can choose to have a ribbon frame around the edges of your finished board. The 5/8" ribbon is approximately the same width of the board and is the same color you choose for the message ribbons. From the pull down menu above, choose the SAME size of the board you have selected and you will see the additional charge for the ribbon frame.

Construction of Custom Cork Bulletin Boards:
Sizes 12" x 12" , 16" x 24" and 24" x 24" - Bulletin Boards are made of quality cork bonded to a sturdy but lightweight material for increased support and durability. The thickness is about 5/8". The chosen fabric is then stretched around all sides of the bonded base and securely attached to the underneath side. The message ribbons and the hanging ribbon(s) are attached, and the back is covered in a coordinating felt.
Larger Sizes And Large Custom Sizes - The larger sizes require additional stability. In addition to the construction method above, a piece of 1/4" plywood is attached to the bonded board before the ribbons are attached and the finishing felt is added. Metal hooks are then attached through the felt to the plywood.
